PAPER INDUSTRY

Every modern paper mill is equipped with a recovery boiler for burning sulfite liquor. Due to the worldwide increasing demand for paper products, the demand for the construction of these boilers is also increasing.

In the segment of the paper industry, metallurgical assemblies have implemented a number of important projects in the Czech Republic and abroad in the framework of the construction of regeneration boilers in cooperation with our long-term customers and renowned suppliers of boiler technology - the companies Andritz, Valmet Technologies and Metsä Fibre.

For the MONDI group, a major European paper producer, Hutní montage installed regeneration boilers including accessories at the Mondi SCP Ružomberok and Mondi Štětí premises.

Overseas, namely in Uruguay, Hutní montáže has already implemented 3 important contracts for the Andritz company, the first in Fray Bentos in 2006 - 2007, the second in Punta Pereira in the period 2013 - 2015. Currently, a third contract is underway in Uruguay near the city of Paso de Los Toros. In all cases, the scope of the Metallurgical Installation included the installation of a regeneration boiler and at the same time a biomass energy boiler, as the goal of the investors was to ensure the energy self-sufficiency of these new paper mill complexes.

For the Finnish company Metsä Fibre, Metallurgical Installations built the largest regeneration boiler in the northern hemisphere at the Äänekoski paper mill in Finland. Another project for this company is the construction of a regeneration boiler in Kemi, Finland, which is planned for the period 2021-2023.
