In 2010, reconstruction of the K2000 bucket wheel excavator operator’s cabin was performed in the Bílina Mines (Doly Bílina). The reconstruction scope covered all the components of the cabin suspension system and the new spring-suspended cab. The spring system is protected by the utility design. After several breakdowns of the original cabin, a decision was made for safety reasons to displace the cabin by one field on the supporting structure of the bucket wheel boom. The design and realization of this displacement were part of the reconstruction as well.
